FirstLight values experienced, enthusiastic educators who can bring science to life for elementary-age students.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a one-hour afterschool science enrichment program using a preset curriculum.
• Lead highenergy, part entertainment, part education handson classes that meet for one hour each week for 810 weeks.
• Teach young children the art of science with engaging activities.
• Occasional daytime programming as needed based on availability.

Qualifications

• Some experience leading groups of elementaryage (412) children (preferred).
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2p.m.
• Must have reliable transportation that is not public or rideshare.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for a required criminal background check.
• Some college education.
• Have a fun and outgoing personality.

We provide training on the curriculum and supply all materials. Mad Science classes follow the school calendar and are presented yearround. This is parttime and rewarding work if it fits your schedule and lifestyle.

$50 per class conducted.
