Summary:

We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including various types of Starbucks coffee and tea.

Barista responsibilities include educating the resort's guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates and troubleshoot equipment when necessary.

Essential duties and responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list. All other duties assigned by leadership are expected to be completed as requested):

• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations with your knowledge of the venue's menu.
• Pay close attention to details of recipes (e.g. guest preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Responsible for keeping venue clean and organized per company standards
• Understanding pricing at your venue
• Assist in regular inventory counts at your venue
• Restock and replenish venue inventory and supplies as needed
• Cash balancing/handling required
