Our staff has been an industry-leading provider of federal background investigations since 2004, employing full-time and part-time investigators across all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories. Opportunity: Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals. Review records to obtain facts to resolve all material issues or to establish background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject. Document all information and submit detailed reports within strict timelines. TDY opportunities at various locations across the U.S. for durations of 2 or more weeks. Opportunities to work on multiple field investigation contracts. Qualifications: Required: Customer credential or the ability to obtain one based on National Training Standard certification and experience conducting background investigations. Proven record of quality, timeliness, and meeting production metrics. Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning, organizing work, and effective communication. Active Top Secret Clearance based on a T5 Investigation, with the ability to maintain a favorable determination. A sense of mission supporting national security initiatives. Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a can-do attitude. Current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel extensively locally. Home office equipped with high-speed Internet (a $50 monthly stipend provided). Personal computer compatible with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel). Ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for long periods. Excellent time management skills. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including ability to produce detailed, extensive reports and effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences. This position is contingent on funding and may not be immediately filled. However, similar positions are regularly available at CACI, and applicants may be considered for other roles. Pay Range: This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits will meet or exceed the minimum amounts specified by the Department of Labor wage determination applicable to the work location. Minimum Required Hourly Wage: $31.58 Other factors influencing salary include location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
