Position Summary

We are seeking a Driver / Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and scheduled trips. This role is focused solely on driving and resident transportation - no maintenance responsibilities .

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, safety-focused, and enjoys working with seniors in a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, activities, and scheduled outings
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely
• Secure wheelchairs properly using approved restraint systems
• Ensure resident comfort and safety throughout transportation
• Maintain cleanliness and basic readiness of the vehicle (fueling, visual safety checks)
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and facility policies

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Prior experience transporting seniors or patients preferred (not required)
• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
• High School Diploma or equivalent
