General Laborer

A & R Packing Co., Inc. is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our production team. This entry-level position supports daily operations in our food/packing facility, assisting with meat processing, packaging, sanitation, and general warehouse duties. This position will not be starting until September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with packing and labeling meat or food products according to company specifications
• Load/unload product from production lines or workstations
• Weigh, sort, and inspect products for quality and consistency
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company guidelines
• Work in a refrigerated environment (cold temperatures)
• Perform repetitive tasks including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods
• Assist with clean-up and sanitation duties at the end of shifts
• Other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors or line leads

Qualifications:

• No previous experience required we will train
• Must be able to work in cold and fast-paced environments
• Ability to lift up to 4050 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
• Must follow all food safety and hygiene requirements
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Work Environment:

• Cold storage/meat packing facility
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting throughout shift
• Exposure to raw meat, cleaning agents, and machinery
