Overview Front Desk Agent / Guest Service Representative ($15 per hour) at The Wurzak Hotel Group. Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Dalmar & Element Hotel). Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Operate telephone equipment to handle calls, schedule wake-up calls, and assist guests as needed Contribute to department communications and operations Respond to guest requests promptly and escalate concerns when needed Assist other employees and departments to support hotel performance May handle cash transactions and maintain personal cash according to policy Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor Perform other duties as assigned by management Education and Experience Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role Experience with hotel reservations software (Lightspeed & EMPOWER GXP) Customer service experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Our Perks Competitive Salary Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision health insurance Robust supplemental insurance for Life, AD&D, Pets, legal and more Wellness programs for mental, physical, and financial wellness Hotel and travel discounts Generous retirement/401k benefits Education and professional development Complimentary employee meals About The Wurzak Hotel Group Wurzak Hotel Group (WHG) is a Philadelphia-based owner, developer, and operator of premium branded full-service, extended stay, and focus service hotels.
