Overview Full Time / Legal Project Manager | Global Law Firm Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Howard-Sloan Search. Must be a US citizen or hold a green card and live local to Washington, DC. Responsibilities Provide 'on-demand' support and consultancy for partners and lawyers on 'live matters' at setup and delivery Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation, assisting with such solutions Champion and support the build out of Legal Project Management capability Be a trusted member of litigation/case teams focused on service quality, delivery, and efficiency Liaise with other operational specialists to support pricing/finance; reporting/IT, knowledge gathering and sharing, and pitching/marketing and business development Provide training and development on methodology and tools; support the implementation, use and further development of the legal project management software tool, and provide user training for fee earners on the software Keys for this role Power BI (advanced user) and SharePoint Prior law firm experience is ideal Required Skills Team player who instils confidence in others, including coaching skills, credibility, and ability to work with all levels within an organization Advanced Excel for fee analysis and reporting with strong financial acumen Advanced Power BI (or comparable BI software), HighQ, Collaborate, Smartsheet, and M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate) Results driven with a track record of delivering creative and effective outcomes Willing to challenge assumptions; proposes alternative and bold solutions Champion and deliver change Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated with determination and persistence Ability to implement pragmatic solutions; high degree of influencing skills Build effective internal and external relationships Proven track record of selling the chargeable elements of LPM to clients and being a chargeable asset on live matters Education, Certifications, and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA preferred At least two (2)+ years of experience as an LPM, with advanced knowledge of project management methodology Preferred Qualifications Subject matter expert acknowledged by colleagues Experience in a law firm or professional services environment Understanding of the legal services markets and the challenges/opportunities Experience with the litigation lifecycle and/or internal investigations Large firm consultative experience is preferable Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to work overtime as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Howard-Sloan Search
