Summary

'In Home Caregiver' is a vital role within our organization located in Virginia. This position is essential in delivering personalized support and companionship to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while aligning with our mission of compassionate care.
Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document client progress and any incidents during caregiving sessions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Proven experience in caregiving or a related field, particularly with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Strong understanding of geriatric care principles.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy towards clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.

• PCA Accreditation- Personal Care Assistant

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Within 25 mile radius of Gainesville/Haymarket/Bristow

Work Location: In person

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to travel locally

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Available to work: overnight
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: late at night
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
• Medical license/certification: Home Health Aide Certification
