Job Description

Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Inventory Control and Materials to join our growing team in Lakewood WA!

This person will be managing end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations, including material handling, maintaining receiving schedules, processing receipts, ensuring vendor compliance with packaging and shipping standards.

This position offers an hourly rate of $25/hr


Performance increases every 6 months up to $29/hr


Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5:30 with occasional overtime


Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor with investigation of any inventory discrepancies, utilizing sound critical thinking and investigative methodology. Recommend changes to processes and/or corrective action.
  • Maintain record integrity by performing inventory checks in the warehouse, to investigate and do root cause trend analysis on inventory discrepancies, making accurate inventory adjustments, processing inbound receipts, investigating receipt discrepancies, and performing various office related and reporting functions.
  • Trace and expedite inbound and outbound shipments with various transportation carriers, preparing claims, and issuing credits for damages, shortages, and related items.
  • Support all inbound materials are dispositioned properly and on a timely basis in line with current processes.
  • Work with Corporate Purchasing department for vendor compliance with packaging and shipping standards.
  • Verify, process, and delivery of all inbound purchased PDC materials. Ensure documentation is complete and provided to appropriate departments.
  • Support PDC Managers and Supervisors in ensuring all shipments are loaded complete and released and systematically closed on time.
  • Timely administration and processing of problem resolution reporting (PRR) based on established company policy and procedures.
  • Work in support of daily operations for inbound and outbound shipments which would include driving material handling equipment to pick items, put items away, recount inventory discrepancies and other functions as needed daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
