Junior Designer

The Elder Statesman is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented RTW Designer to support both the Menswear and Womenswear across all categories. The RTW Designer will work closely with senior design team members and cross-functional partners to support the full design process—from concept and sketching through prototype and final samples. This role is collaborative and fast-paced, ideal for a mid-level designer with strong technical skills, refined aesthetic sensibility, and experience within the luxury or contemporary market.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design and develop seasonal RTW categories from initial concept through proto and SMS

·        Create detailed CAD sketches, update line sheets, and prepare seasonal design presentations

·        Research fabrics, trims, and treatments; assist in maintaining the material library

·        Develop and support tech packs in collaboration with Product Development and Technical Design

·        Collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet calendar deadlines

Qualifications:

·        3–5 years of experience in RTW Design, ideally within the luxury or contemporary market

·        Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

·        Excellent technical understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing

·        Strong sketching skills (hand and digital), including Procreate

·        Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple styles and deadlines

·        Positive attitude, collaborative approach, and eagerness to grow

·        Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
