Lead Automotive Technician:
Overview:
Our company is looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician for our Medina location located at 1451 Medina Rd. Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
* Repair or replace faulty components and parts
* Perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension and alignments
* Collaborate with the sales team and service department
* Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust.
* Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance
* Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
* Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
Professional Qualifications:
* Must be proficient with diagnostic testing (CEL, ABS, electrical, drivability issues etc.)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead technician role strongly preferred
* Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.
*All candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR history.
