Growing National known real estate firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Leasing Consultant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management and leasing processes, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding potential tenants through the leasing process! This is a great opportunity for a recent grad who has one to two years experience in realestate , strong summer exp and internships!
Responsibilities
· Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
· Assist in the application process, including data entry and filing of necessary documentation.
· Manage lease agreements and ensure compliance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
· Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for tracking applications and managing tenant information.
· Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating strong conflict management skills.
· Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
· Engage in upselling additional services or amenities to prospective tenants.
· Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and customer interactions using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
· Support administrative tasks related to leasing operations, including phone etiquette and office experience.
Skills
· Knowledge of Yardi and Yield Star
· Social Media knowledge is a must
· Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
· Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements and conflict resolution.
· Background in sales with a focus on property leasing and customer service.
· Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to real estate transactions.
· Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining organized filing systems.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships with clients.
