Join Dexcomm’s marketing team as a full-time Marketing Content Specialist—a creative, self-driven professional ready to hit the ground running. In this role, you’ll research and write thoughtful blog content, create engaging social media graphics and videos, and manage consistent posting across multiple platforms. We’re looking for someone with proven marketing experience who can balance strategy with creativity, work independently, and uphold Dexcomm’s conversational and professional brand voice.
Primary Duties
Blog content (2 blogs per month, 1,500 words each)
- Perform thorough, well-sourced research using both online and internal resources (team interviews, relevant online articles, etc)
- Write each blog in Dexcomm’s brand voice (conversational and professional) and style, maintaining clarity
- Reference prior Dexcomm blogs for help with tone and structure while citing credible outside sources
- Structure content logically with strong headlines and smooth flow of information
- Implement all requested revisions accurately and efficiently
- Select appropriate photos from Shutterstock or Dexcomm’s library and edit them for blog use (proper dimensions and alt text)
Social media stills (12 caption+graphic posts per month, 3 published per week)
- Develop ideas for, fill, and follow monthly content calendars that include publish dates for still posts and video posts
- Write engaging, brand-aligned copy for captions and graphic text that reflects Dexcomm’s tone and inbound marketing approach
- Capture high-quality photos of coworkers (scheduled and candid) using the provided iPhone
- Design visually appealing, on-brand graphics in Canva (preferred) or Adobe Creative Suite
- Publish posts according to defined calendar and track performance metrics to inform future creative direction
- Optimize content for each platform
- Manage Instagram stories and highlights
Long-form video (2 videos per month, 3-4 minutes each)
- Develop ideas for, fill, and follow monthly content calendars that include publish dates for still posts and video posts
- Schedule and coordinate filming sessions with coworkers in other departments in advance (while also remaining adaptable should they be absent or need to reschedule)
- Film professional-quality video footage in the office using the provided iPhone
- Edit and assemble video work cohesively, creating engaging narratives that align with Dexcomm’s brand
- Publish completed videos across Dexcomm’s social media channels
Short-form video (4 per month, 10–20 seconds each)
- Develop ideas for, fill, and follow monthly content calendars that include publish dates for still posts and video posts
- Schedule, film, and edit vertical short-form videos (reels/shorts) designed for increasing engagement
- Optimize content for each platform
- Resize, subtitle, and create branded thumbnails as needed
Social media monitoring (30-60 minutes daily)
- Engage on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram (prioritized in that order) by reacting, commenting, and sharing thoughtfully on posts relevant to Dexcomm’s partnerships, industries, or customer service focus
- Follow new client accounts when notified by the sales or account management team
Additional tasks
- Assist with graphics projects that come across marketing’s desk (flyers, postcards, etc)
- Support internal hiring and retention initiatives (employee introductions, employee social posts, etc)

Hard skills

Writing and editing:
- Exceptional command of English grammar and spelling
- Ability to write well-structured blogs with strong intros, clear logic, and compelling takeaways
- Adept at writing while incorporating a sensible flow, Dexcomm’s voice, and brand consistency
- Note: AI is a tool, not a replacement for performing thorough research or knowing how to structure your thoughts. Blogs cannot be AI-generated content only.
Graphic design:
- Proficient in Canva (preferred) or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of layout, color balance, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
- Able to create professional, on-brand social graphics that reflect Dexcomm’s identity
Video production:
- Skilled in filming and editing both long- and short-form video
- Able to resize content for platform specifications and add captions/subtitles
- Capable of producing creative thumbnails and polished final edit
Social media management:
- Experienced in Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn posting, engagement, and analytics
- Comfortable using HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, and similar scheduling tools
- Understands platform trends, engagement tactics, and performance metrics
Organization and planning:
- Maintains consistent publishing schedules and tracks deliverables within a centralized content calendar
- Effectively balances short-term deadlines with long-term marketing goals
Analytics: Interprets basic performance metrics and applies insights to future content
Field experience:
- Minimum 2+ years in digital marketing or content creation for a business (not personal accounts)
- B2B experience preferred (understands professional audiences)
Compensation and Other Information
- $20-$22 / hour depending on experience
- Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc)
- This position is full-time / 40 hours per week
