Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency specializing in industrial and manufacturing trades, is currently seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator for a fabrication company located in South Phoenix/Tempe, AZ.
This company designs and builds mild steel and stainless-steel enclosures and other fabricated products of various sizes.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel materials.
Create fixtures and use jigs to fabricate components accurately.
Operate shop equipment including shears, benders, cold saws, band saws, and grinders.
Read and interpret CAD drawings to ensure precision fabrication.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Handle material pick-ups, deliveries, and other shop-related tasks.
Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
2?3 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience (push/pull MIG preferred).
Ability to weld to tight tolerances and proper TAC placement with hot TACS.
Experience using fabrication shop tools and equipment.
Forklift experience and valid drivers license required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift.
Must pass a drug test.
