Position Overview This is a part-time , day-shift position working 1 - 11-hour shift per week, amd every other 7-hour Saturday shift, additional hours available to cover vacations, as needed. Primary assignment is in Convenient Care , with potential coverage in Rural Health , and other community or hospital needs as required. Provides comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff including medical evaluation, counseling and referrals. Assesses the physical status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic test. Interprets the data, develops and implements therapeutic plans. Practices within the scope of practice act and in accordance with Illinois State licensure. Position requires the employee to maintain compliance with all Rural Health Clinic department and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Qualifications Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Active Illinois NP or PA license in good standing Current Controlled Substance and DEA registration Current BLS , ACLS , and PALS certifications Compliance with all vaccination requirements per IDPH, CDC, and CMS Key Responsibilities Greet patients, gather and update medical information in charts Conduct initial and follow-up examinations, including physical assessments Diagnose conditions, prescribe and administer treatments in collaboration with nursing staff Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests Perform or assist with minor surgical procedures Educate patients and families on treatment plans and at-home care Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed Operate and monitor medical equipment Document and update all patient records accurately Perform other duties within NP/PA scope of practice under physician supervision Compensation & Benefits for Part-Time Staff HSA Wellness Health Insurance : Employee Coverage for under $50.00/month. Retirement Plan : 5% employer deposit with optional match program. PTO : Earn up to 4 hours per week, based on hours worked. Differential Pay : Additional pay for weekend hours. Employee discounts on services at Memorial Hospital – Chester, IL. Rate of Pay: $50.00/hr. - $70.00/hr. includes differentials. If applicants are interested in (PRN / Per Diem Position) rate will increase and they will decline all benefits listed in this posting. PRN's must work a minimum of 2 shifts a month and 1 Saturday a month.
