Office Coordinator- Behavioral Health

We are hiring for a part time office coordinator in Houston, TX for our IOP mental health clinic called Thousand Branches Wellness. The Office Coordinator performs and assists with the implementation of clerical and public relations functions of office. Actively support, promote and work to fulfill the Mission, Vision and Values associated with Thousand Branches Wellness. This position ensures the office operates efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

This position will start as part time and transition into full time

Schedule:

• 12:30p-7:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

Responsibilities:

• Collaborative communication with coworkers, clients and referral sources
• Organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects and tasks
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Telephone Screening of inquiry calls with appropriate referrals made for any emergency situation and appointments scheduled as appropriate
• Documentation of all incoming inquiry calls
• Obtain records/documentation as needed from referring agencies
• Maintain confidentiality through good judgement
• Implement and manage systems to ensure effective communication with clients, families, referral sources and other relevant entities
• Crisis Management and Verbal De-escalation
• Collect payment and verify benefits
• Assist patients with completing LOC paperwork
• Schedule appointments
• Provide support and assistance to clients and guests in the waiting area
• Maintain a calm and compassionate demeanor
• Manage day-to-day schedule, follow up, appointment confirmation and re-schedule as needed
• Follow up/respond to incoming calls/emails/fax requests within timelines outlined in policy
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of related work experience required
• Proficient in MS office products
