Private Chef

We’re looking for a refined, intuitive Private Chef to join a household that values clean, flavorful, beautifully crafted cuisine with a California soul and worldly flair.

This role is split between San Francisco (Tues - Thurs) & Woodside (Fri & Sat)

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who blends culinary artistry with nutrition-forward cooking . You’ll be responsible for crafting daily meals that are:

• California cuisine with global influences : Think vibrant seasonal vegetables, lean proteins, citrus, fresh herbs, and chef-driven touches from Mediterranean to Asian flavors.
• Refined but approachable dishes : Not fussy, but always elevated—where beauty, texture, and layered flavor matter.
• Health meets comfort : Meals should feel nourishing and satisfying, not restrictive.
• Kid-friendly sensibility : Able to balance adult sophistication with meals suitable for children’s palates.

You love working with:

• Seasonal produce and local ingredients
• Clean proteins – seafood (mild only), poultry, and plant-based options (excluding tofu)
• Balanced, artistic plating with a focus on taste, freshness, and presentation

Requirements

• Experience as a private chef in the home environment
• Deep understanding of special diets and allergen-safe cooking
• Creative, thoughtful, and detail-oriented with a passion for clean, seasonal cuisine
• Able to plan and prep meals efficiently with minimal waste
• Family-friendly and adaptable to evolving needs and preferences

Salary: $150 - 200k Base + Benefits
