Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access Team (VAT) . This specialized team provides expert vascular access services across the hospital, ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for patients requiring IV therapy, central lines, and other vascular access procedures. As a VAT RN, you’ll collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes through precision and expertise.
In this role, you will:
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines using advanced technology
• Perform vascular assessments and select appropriate access devices based on patient needs
• Provide education to patients, families, and clinical staff regarding vascular access and line care
• Troubleshoot and maintain vascular access devices to ensure safe, effective therapy
• Support teams across multiple units, bringing specialized skill and expertise wherever needed

What We're Looking For
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
