The role you'll contribute:

Supervises the daily activities of the assigned area(s), security systems for protection of patients, staff, and facilities and investigates various crimes against the organization, client, visitors or staff.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Aids in development and administration of programs to protect the organization, employee's, or patient's property from theft, sabotage, violence, or other situation that endangers the wellbeing of patients, employees, or organization facilities
• Monitors electronic security systems, such as closed-circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, electric eyes, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms
• Notifies management of security weaknesses, and assists in developing procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destroying classified materials.
• Oversees the training and development of staff. Coordinates daily staff assignments
• May be required to oversee PBX/ communications

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• High School Grad or Equiv
• Please be advised that all licenses and certifications listed are not required. If you only have one or some of those listed, you may still be eligible for this position.
• Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer (CASHO) IAHSS. Must be completed within 1 Year
• Holds and maintains a valid State Department of Business and Professional Regulation Class D Security License if applicable to facility
• Certified in the use of conductive energy weapons if applicable to facility
