Roberts Properties is looking to hire a Construction Staff Accountant for an exciting job opportunity with a Class A multifamily developer. This position offers a competitive salary based on each individual's qualifications and a generous bonus package. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of accounting experience in private-sector construction and hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline. They should also be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, self-motivated, have a keen sense of attention to detail, and be capable of working with minimum supervision.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Oversee Accounts Payable with internal Approval Routing.
• Oversee Time Billing Invoices.
• Review and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Review Financial records to reconcile Land, Land Improvement and Construction in Progress accounts.
• Assist with annual external audits as needed.
• Other Ad Hoc Reporting as needed.

Well Qualified Candiddates will:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting required along with 2-3 years experience in Real Estate Accounting.
• Excellent Analytical, communication and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional and flexible manner.
• Knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles is required.
• MS Office especially Excel Proficiency required
• Experience with Yardi or Sage Timberline is preferred.
• Ability to reasonably commute to Alpharetta office 5 days a week.
