Pride Health is hiring Sterile Processing Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Jacksonville, FL US 32244 . This is 3 months of contract role with the possibility of extension.

**Open to both locals and travellers. **

Location: Jacksonville, FL US 32244

Shift Time: Mon-Fri , 8- hours Night shift (22:45 - 07:15) or Evening shift (14:45-23:15)

Duration: 3 months, Contract with possible extension

No. of openings: 4

Pay Range (Local): $22 - 26/hour (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.)

Travel Pay Package: $1300/Week for 40 hours (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education. )

Job Summary:

• This position is responsible to ensure that all surgical instrument sets and equipment are properly maintained.
• Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in Instrument Tracking System software.
• Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports.
• Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in procedure manual.
• Functions as a team member, supporting department activities providing for optimal instrument and equipment processing.
• Functions as a patient advocate. Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.

Required Skills & Experience:

• -Good computer knowledge, good working knowledge of Power Point and SPM.
• -Good interpersonal skills
• -Good verbal and written communications skills (English).
• -Self Motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Required:

• Education: - -High school graduate or GED.
• Experience: Three (3) years instrumentation experience in a hospital setting.
• Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS and CRCST or CBSPD
