Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff. Is a supportive participant in the patient care team.
Qualifications
Completion of two semesters in an Associate's in Nursing program, or completion of junior year in a Bachelor in Nursing program required prior to start. Candidates must be graduating graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. Once accepted into the Summer Internship Nursing Internship program, student interns will be required to apply for a Summer Intern Course at a University or College within Minnesota for the duration of the internship in order to participate in the Summer internship Program (information will be provided to selected candidates upon offer acceptance). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association and must not expire during internship. PLEASE NOTE: As part of the selection process, you will participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. You will be sent an email with a link to our HireVue OnDemand system. There will be 2 questions that you will be asked to record answers for. There will be a deadline to complete this interview. The application Deadline is December 31, 2025. Offers will go out starting the week of February 2, 2026. The Internship will begin on June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026. Applicants MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE TEN CONSECUTIVE WEEKS OF EMPLOYMENT. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS THOROUGHLY. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR CONSIDERATION.
