Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for an Interventional Radiology position in California requiring 1 year of experience and an active CA RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio for focused care
• Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with call coverage including both weekdays (2230-0600) and weekends (12-hour shifts, either Saturday or Sunday)
• Every other weekend work is required
• On-call responsibilities include both primary and secondary call assignments in a rotating 6-week call cycle
• No floating between units required for this role
• Daily duties involve providing comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Orientation modules must be completed before start
• Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after 3 months
• All travelers should be willing to float between facilities within the state if required
• Candidates must disclose license and background information up front for consideration
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application to be considered

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license in hand is required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Epic EMR experience is required
• LA Fire Card issued within the last 30 days required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates within 50 miles are considered local
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
