Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring recent procedural and critical care skills, with an active OK or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
• Position provides care to patients under mild sedation, including critical care cases
• Procedures involve ultrasound, CT, and interventional radiology
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts with call required on weekdays and weekends
• Patient care may include assisting with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, and assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Must be able to organize, plan, and delegate nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Position does not accept candidates living within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Professional scrubs are required as dress code
• Holiday and weekend call coverage required

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active OK or compact multistate RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required from an accredited program
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing required
• Strong ability to function independently in specialty area
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
