Position: RN-CVICU-Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.

• Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

• Stay updated on advancements in cardiovascular care and nursing practices.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license with specialization in Cardiovascular Intensive Care.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Eagerness to set personal development goals and engage in performance reviews.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in CVICU or similar critical care settings.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular care protocols and treatment plans.

• Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.

• Proficient in utilizing data to evaluate patient outcomes effectively.
