Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Support PCMC’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.
2. Under the general direction of the Director, Medical Imaging, performs routine and specialized ultrasound procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology
3. Identify each patient and review physician orders for consistency with clinical information.
4. Assess patient condition and ensure patient safety through proper use of immobilization devices.
5. Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, registered with ARDMS or ARRT (S)
• Completion of an Ultrasound program
