As a Unarmed Security Professional - Retail Site in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout retail and mall locations. This primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and location management.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
