JOB SUMMARY Shipping & Receiving Personnel II is responsible for the effective control of all incoming/outgoing goods and inventory in the warehouse and maintaining the warehouse in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain all raw material finished goods and in-process material.
- Receipt of incoming raw materials.
- Ensure proper quarantine of incoming materials.
- Data entry for all inventory transactions.
- Maintain Visual for purchased materials.
- Organize the shipment of finished product, samples, and equipment through packing for safe transportation.
- Prepare and issue all relevant documentation, as stated in the Nordson Medical quality system.
- Preparation of customs documentation where required and ensuring shipments (incoming or outgoing) are on-time and complete
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
- Follow and adhere to all applicable procedures / policies.
- Able to use material handling equipment as necessary.
- Work safely with various cutting tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain Off-site building inventory
- Knowledge of the purchasing function
- Ability to initiate cycle count
- Create building/woodworking
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - High school Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years' shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment or medical device experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn IFS Manufacturing.
SKILLS & ABILITIES - High level of passion and enthusiasm
- Strong written and verbal two-way communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem recognition
- Ability to read, write and speak English in order to comprehend and execute shipping functions and communicate with internal and external customers.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Interact professionally with logistics coordinators and co-workers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships
- Demonstrates professionalism, builds trust, and ensures Nordson meets its commitments
- Approachable and relationship oriented

- Ability to lift materials and product up to 75 pounds.
- Hand strength to package products.
