About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Medical Officer to oversee the expansion of its community health and social services. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of administrative and clinical work, with a focus on providing primary care treatment to underserved patients and those with developmental disabilities. This role involves collaboration with the CEO on company initiatives, quality assurance, budget planning, and overall operations of the centers. The Chief Medical Officer will also be expected to have a strong background in practice, ideally with experience as a Site Director at another similar organization, and a desire to advance to a higher leadership position. Applicants for the Chief Medical Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years of practice experience, with residency training in internal medicine or family medicine. Previous work in a similar community health or social services setting is essential, as is prior leadership experience in a medical director or regional medical director role. The role is demanding, requiring a candidate who is adept at balancing administrative and clinical responsibilities, and who is committed to the mission of providing care to underserved populations. The Chief Medical Officer will play a key role in the organization's expansion and must be prepared to take on the challenges and rewards of a leadership position in a dynamic and growing environment.
