Express Employment Professionals are seeking a skilled MIG Welder for a full time position in Logan, UT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and fabrication, with the ability to work efficiently in a construction site environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate MIG welding equipment to perform welding tasks on various materials.
• Utilize hand tools, forklifts, and cranes safely and effectively during the welding process.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Able to pass a 2G weld test onto 1 inch steel plate
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of welding principles.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs when needed
• Experience using hand tools, forklifts, and cranes in a construction site setting.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay and Schedule:

• $20-$27/hr, Monday - Thursdays Days and Graves
